Dance Screens

  • We will perform a musculoskeletal assessment on each dancer, followed by individualized education aimed at injury prevention (i.e. exercises, technique modifications).

Screens can be booked by a dance studio or individual dancer.

4-dancer minimum required for screens taking place at the hosting dance studio (travel fees may apply).

Individual dancer screens will take place at Pilates Franklin.

Note: This service should not be used in place of formal physical therapy. If the dancer has suffered an injury that would best be treated by formal physical therapy, we can assist in this referral process.

  • We offer a standardized musculoskeletal assessment considering each dancer’s risk of injury upon initiation of pointe work. Strength, alignment, range of motion, and functional stability will be observed and considered. Individual exercises will be given to each dancer to improve their specific weaknesses and promote greater success with future pointe work.

Screens can be booked by a dance studio or individual dancer.

4-dancer minimum required for screens taking place at the hosting dance studio (travel fees may apply).

Individual dancer screens will take place at Pilates Franklin.

Note: This screen may be used by dance studios to determine which dancers are ready to progress to pointe work, or used to educate dancers who have already been deemed ready by their studio.

  • We offer physical therapy coverage before & during dress rehearsals and live performances to provide support to performing artists during these periods of high stress and intense physical demand.

    Pricing upon request.
